God has made all creatures beautiful. That includes you and me. Whether you're physically complete or not.
When I watch Liu Wei performing, I can't believe myself that I'm watching a great performance of a pianist who has no arms. He sounds complete. If I close my eyes, I can't tell the difference whether I'm listening to Josh Groban or that of Liu Wei.
And his choice of song is perfect! Perfect because he is singing from his heart and he's telling the world that in spite of having no arms to play, God has gave him faith bigger than the universe. In short, he walks the talk. He didn't give up. No amount of discouragement can stop him from playing his role. That his life is beautiful.
There are people out there who have arms and legs but they act like they have nothing to give. Very easy to give up...who love to quit.
How many Liu Wei out there who doesn't recognize his given talent because he sees himself a burden instead of an asset to the world?
How many people like me who are complete and able physically yet feels incapacitated of his own limitation?
There are souls in every corner of this world that ought to be God's masterpieces but fail to show up because he feels ugly. The mirror of this world is distorted. Why believe to those people who keeps on telling you that you don't deserve to be here. That you're nothing. That you're a burden.
Believe in the original plan when God molded you inside you mother's womb. You're created in His likeness and images. Believe you're beautiful, inside and out.
As Liu Wei sings: "You're beautiful it's true."
